Diet advice for fat burning and muscle gain, also workout pains question?

So im a guy of 20, 6’1 and 231pounds. I started a diet 3 months back and lost 3stone. Recently started the gym 3 days ago. Ive been doing alot of weight training and im in real aching pain all over. Im going to be going atleast 4times and week, Just wondering if I keep going at it will the ache finally go? Also for my size im not lifting what I thought I would be able to. I can bench like 50pounds which is frustrating. How long roughly untill I will see a good difference?

And lastly my diet, What should I be eating that will be good for both? Muscle gain and weight lost. Protein shakes good at this point?
