How I lost 22kgs Using Simple Fat Burning Body Techniques
Just over two years ago I was in pretty bad shape. I was stuck in a middle management job, over worked, stressed, tired, over weight, drinking too much and on a downward spiral.
Whilst I’ve always been conscious of what I eat and reasonably disciplined with getting some regular exercise – my working environment meant that some of my lifestyle choices were shall we say “less than optimal”.
At my worst I was over 85kgs – which may not sound a lot but when in comparison I had been only 65kgs ever since I had left school – I was well over weight – I’m no Arnold Schwarzenegger – nor I will I ever play pro basketball for a living – if you know what I mean – (I’m well under 6 foot
).
Simple Secrets to Creating a Fat Burning Body
One of the major factors that I believe contributed to my fat burning body success was reduction of consumption of beer. Yes – sad but true – beer has way to many calories to be useful and if your like I was and enjoying 2-3 (or more) beers every day – it becomes way harder to shed unwanted weight – especially belly fat. If you want to create for yourself a Fat Burning Body – you simply must moderate your beer intake.
This doesn’t mean you have to give up drinking completely – just change some of your core habits. At the end of the working day, when the feeling takes you to have that first beer – just have a really big glass of water or even better, have a protein shake (instead of coffee) for instance – you’ll feel more energised and your consuming way less calories. If you do this and then maybe replace having that beer with a glass of wine or two with your meal once you get home rather than staying on at work drinking beer – you’ll be safer in not drinking and driving, you’ll arrive home in a better frame of mind and you can still enjoy the relaxation of moderate alcohol consumption. I try now to reserve drinking beer to one day a week – usually the weekend.
The Right Foods To Create a Fat Burning Body
So what’s the best food for a fat burning diet and to create a fat burning body?
Simple answer – lean proteins. I’ve managed to loose over 20kgs in the past 18 months – without implementing heavy duty exercise and training schedules – really I’ve just walked and done on average about 20 minutes of exercise per day for usually only 2-3 days each week. Now my jeans, shorts and trousers are all about 2 sizes too big!
Here’s the main thing – consume a good protein breakfast each and every day, make your midday meal the main meal of the day, cut out the junk food snacks and if you want to snack replace junk food with fruit, almonds and natural products like dried fruit – in moderation. I have my carbohydrate meals at the end of the day – these are your starchy kind of meals, your pastas’, potatoes that sort of thing. If you do only this you’ll find several cool things happen;
- Your energy throughout the day will go through the roof
- You’ll sleep better at night and awake feeling refreshed
- Your libido increases and your general outlook on life improves
If you want to also improve your chances of burning body fat and creating the ultimate Fat Burning Body – you need to increase your level of water consumption. I always (well usually 6 days per week anyways) drink at least 2 litres of water every day. Your skin will improve and it’s a major factor in increasing your bodies rate of metabolism. Please don’t think that coffee and soda are water substitutes – they actually work as diuretics – that is they make your body thirstier! Try to limit yourself to 2-3 coffees per day – usually not after 2pm is good policy – and for each coffee you have, drink at least three glasses of water. It’s a great habit to get into and will do so much for your health in the longterm that you are made if you don’t.
